Central Artery Third Harbor Tunnel

As part of the coordinating consulting team for the Central Artery/Third Harbor Tunnel project Stull and Lee was responsible for preliminary design of Tunnel Vent Building 7. Final design was executed by TAMS Engineers.

The building houses room-sized exhaust and supply fans that direct tunnel fumes above the roof and dispense fresh air to the tunnel.

Stull and Lee and TAMS received an American Institute of Architects National Honor Award and the Harleston Parker Medal for Design Excellence from the Boston Society of Architects.
