Greenfield Station

Stull and Lee is teamed with VHB Engineers for the design of two new intercity rail platforms with canopies for MassDOT / MBTA as part of a Federal Rail Administration High Speed Rail and Intercity Passenger Rail Grant program, dubbed the “Knowledge Corridor”

The new platform at Greenfield is sited adjacent to the new John Olver Transportation Center, whose contemporary language it emulates in both form and materials. The fully-accessible high-level platform features a canopy and windscreens, and in the future will be connected to the center by a covered pedestrian walkway.

Both stations are expected to be operational by Fall 2015.
